On July 26, the 3th job fair of Maizhokunggar County’s Relocation to Cultural Creative Park resettlement site, jointly organized by China Tibet Cultural Tourism Creative Park Management Committee (hereinafter referred to as Cultural Creative Park Management Committee) and Lhasa Usunhome Potala Cultural and Creative Industry Development Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as Usunhome Potala), was successfully carried out.

 

The job fair was held in the face-to-face manner. According to the actual situation of the villagers relocated from the ex-situation, Usunhome Potala will provide suitable employment positions as well as further targeted training of professional skills for the settlers. Customized jobs can help the relocated households increase their self-reliance capability in order to achieve sustainable income growth. Through the poverty alleviation model of “teaching people how to fish”, the transition of poverty alleviation from “transfusion” to “hematopoiesis”type  can be effectively realized. The on-site recruitment completed the intention signing with a total number of 42 people. It also set up a fixed employment inquiry office to facilitate the relocated villagers for consultation.

 

Usunhome Potala and its affiliated enterprises effectively promote employment, and assist the cultural tourism poverty alleviation through construction and operation of " Princess Wencheng" large-scale Tibetan cultural epic drama, Dadong Village, "Deji Tibetan Home" and other projects as well as the development of cultural tourism industry. According to preliminary statistics, since the establishment of Usunhome Potala, more than 2,000 people have been employed, among which more than 500 poor households’ profile have been created. After several years’ development, they all have been lifted out of poverty. The company keeps recruiting people from poor class. By the end of July, 2018, 45 new poverty-stricken households’ profile have been created.

Under the guidance of Usunhome Group’s party committee, it positively strengthens the liaison and cooperation with the Lhasa municipal Bureau of Human Resources, Lhasa municipal Poverty Alleviation Office and  China Tibet Cultural Tourism Creative Industry Park Management Committee, organizes a number of recruitment and poverty alleviation  work in various districts and counties of Lhasa, attracting a large number of farmers and herdsmen for employment. This year, the company will unite the Cultural Creative Park Management Committee to prioritize the 213 poor households from Maizhokunggar County in the resettlement site of the Cultural Creative Park. By means of promoting their wisdom and ambition for employment and self-employment, truly help the  relocated poor households be able to“move out successfully, live stably and get rich quickly."

In recent years, through instilling advanced ideas of poverty alleviation, incubating high-quality poverty alleviation projects and teaching the poor how to “fish”, Usunhome promotes the sustainable development of income in ethnic areas.
