Running in beautiful Xichang is a way of chasing dreams in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture. At 7:30 am on November 3, a starting gun going off marked the beginning of the 2018 Xichang Qionghai Lake Wetland International Marathon on Torch Square in Xichang. To practice its corporate culture and encourage a healthy lifestyle, Usunhome Group organized for the first time a 21-member running team to participate in the women's half marathon and mini marathon.

Early in the morning, Usunhome marathoners arrived at the starting site to warm up and raise the morale. When the starting gun finally went off, participants from all corners of the world eagerly started running, creating their own "Xichang Marathon moment". Accompanied by the massive cheering crowd, Usunhome marathoners ran, in refreshing autumn wind and in the warm morning sunshine of "another city of eternal spring".

The five-kilometer marathon turned out to be magic. “Running together with so many marathoners, I didn’t feel tired at all!” “I didn’t think I could finish it so fast that it didn’t feel as difficult as expected. Next time I will take on half marathon!” Having crossed the finish line, Usunhome marathoners, so full of vigor, merrily shared their feelings. Moreover, two Usunhome ladies Zhou Yue and Huang Chen finished the half marathon respectively in two hours, 16 minutes, 02.00 seconds and two hours, 19 minutes, 05.00 seconds. Pulling off such a feat in the beautiful Xionghai Lake Wetland is indeed an invaluable experience.

Dripping sweat all over, Usunhome marathoners got in return a precious memory. They presented themselves exceptionally as they tried their best and challenged themselves. Bravo, Usunhomers!

Embraced by natural beauty, Jianchang Ancient Town is definitely worth a visit. All the buzz in the morning was followed by Usunhome marathoners’ afternoon visit to historic Jianchang Ancient Town. They walked on the old ramparts and along quaint alleys. In the near future, Xichang • Jianchang Ancient Town Historic District Protection and Improvement Project developed by Usunhome will breathe new life into the place.
