At the Wuhou District Private Economy's Healthy Development Conference held on December 11, three lists were released: “Top 50 Private Enterprises in Wuhou District in 2018”, “Excellent Private Entrepreneurs” and “Excellent Entrepreneurs”. Qiu Wei, Chairman of Usunhome Group and of Usunhome Cultural Tourism, was honored “Outstanding Private Entrepreneur in Wuhou District in 2018”.

This is another honor conferred upon Mr. Qiu Wei, in addition to the one on 7 December—"Sichuan’s 100 Outstanding Private Entrepreneurs on the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening up". Economy and cities cannot thrive without thriving enterprises. According to “A Letter to Private Entrepreneurs in the District” by Wuhou District CPC Committee and Wuhou District People’s Government, the private economy of Wuhou District has ranked first in Sichuan Province for 11 consecutive years in terms of overall economic strength. It accounts for over 70% of the district’s economic growth, over 80% of its tax revenues and over 90% of its employment. In Wuhou District, the private sector is the “major driving force” behind economic growth, the “engine” of innovation and entrepreneurship and the “booster” for people's wellbeing, having made extraordinary contributions to the district’s reform, development and stability.

Chairman Qiu Wei praised the achievements Wuhou District has made. “Cultural and creative industries make Wuhou a smart district.” This is how the district positions itself. Following its “development of industries makes a stronger district” strategy, it has formulated effective policies and measures in relation to human resources, innovation and business startup. At the conference, the issuance of the “Three Cards”, namely Contact Card, Clarity Card and Commitment Card, in particular, was one of the highlights that show consideration. What underpins all this is Wuhou District’s consistency in serving private economy and working out innovative services. This gives companies faith and reassurance. Mr. Qiu said that he would cherish the honor by working even harder. He will grow his enterprise with more visionary strategic thinking, a stronger sense of responsibility and always with something higher and greater in mind. Wuhou District strives to develop into a pioneer that represents new urban development philosophy and a example of beautiful and livable “park” city. To this cause Mr. Qiu aspires to make greater contribution.
