On May 6th, Usunhome Group and the People’s Government of Ganzi Prefecture signed in Chengdu a cooperation agreement to jointly develop quality cultural tourism projects in a bid to build Ganzi into a national-level demonstration site for integrated tourism and an  ecological and cultural international tourist destination.

    

Both parties plan to develop together a large tourism performance characteristic of Tibetan culture in Daocheng Yading. At the same time, they will also speed up the development of a modern service system lead by integrated tourism, upgrade quality scenic areas like Daocheng Yading and promote the development of “integrated, all-season and at-any-time“ tourism in Ganzi.

 

 According to Mr. Qiu Wei, Chairman of Usunhome Group, the group has been running several cultural tourism projects in Tibetan areas, helping a great deal in protecting and passing down Tibetan culture, diversifying local tourism products, catalyzing industrial upgrading and boosting local employment. According to Mr. Xiao Youcai, Mayor of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, this cooperation aims for quality cultural tourism projects that can be international, Chinese and typical of Kangba culture at the same time and will eventually raise the profile of Kangba culture, make Ganzi more attractive and increase its cultural tourism supply.
