On July 22nd , Wu Yingjie, Secretary of CPC Committee of Tibet Autonomous Region inspected the development and recovery of tourism in Lhasa and visited the operation of Dadong Village Comprehensive Targeted Poverty Alleviation Tourism Development Project. Leaders Mr. Baima Wangdui, Member of the Standing Committee of Tibet Autonomous Region, and Secretary of CPC Lhasa Committee, Mr. Liu Jiang, Secretary-General and Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Tibet Autonomous Region Committee, Mr. Jiare Luosangdanzeng, Vice Chairman of Tibet Autonomous Regional People’s Government attended the inspection. Mr. Lizhao, Vice General Manager of Usunhome Podala Co., Ltd and President of Liuwu Usunhome Village Co., Ltd accompanied with the inspection team.

Wu Yingjie listened the report to the operation of Dadong Village Project. He urged to greatly pass down and promote folk culture by utilizing local unique resources, strength poverty alleviation through tourism, accelerate to develop folk culture and tourism in rural places, making villagers getting involved in industrial development and benefiting from it. Wu Yingjie praised the operation mode “government taking the lead, corporate running the project and farmers and herdsman” in Dadong Village. He stressed that the project should follow the principle of government leading, market operation and benefit of the masses, develop and strengthen the collective economy through various channels, realize industrial upgrading and lead villagers to the road of common prosperity. We should fully tap into the excellent traditional culture, increase the intensity of publicity and promotion, constantly release the potential of the cultural tourism industry, attract more tourists to come for vacation and leisure, and effectively increase the income of the masses.
