On October 31st, a Usunhome team paid a visit to Dongxing District, Neijiang, at the invitation of the government and CPC committee of the district. The team was led by Qiu Wei, Chairman of Usunhome Group and of Usunhome Cultural Tourism, and He Ping, Vice Chairman of Usunhome Group and President of Usunhome Cultural Tourism. Usunhome team was received by Xu Lianying, Secretary of Dongxing District CPC Committee, Lan Wu, member of the Standing Committee of Dongxing District CPC Committee and Director of Management Committee of Dongxing Economic Development Zone, and Chen Zeqing, member of the Standing Committee of Dongxing District CPC Committee and Director of Department of Publicity. Both parties exchanged their ideas on the upgrading and development of cultural and tourism industries in Dongxing District after they had visited the old streets there.
At the meeting, Chen Zeqing briefed Usunhome on those old streets and the district’s plan to reinvent them.
Xu Lianying expounded on how they had envisaged the future development of the streets. According to her, Usunhome Group has gained currency thanks to the development of multiple quality cultural and tourism projects. Dachuan Alley π Cubic Art Street is particularly a resounding success, from which they can learn a lot to upgrade Dongxing’s old streets. With long history and rich culture, the streets are worth further development. Hoping to work on this in cooperation with Usunhome, the government and CPC committee of the district will offer a good business environment and solid policy support.
He Ping expressed his appreciation for Dongxing old streets’ historical and cultural riches. He said, “What they need now is a systematic analysis of their cultural treasures so as to figure out their positioning and the direction they are taking. Then a project is to be fleshed out accordingly with a view to upgrading the streets thoroughly.
Qiu Wei expressed his admiration for the great importance the district government has placed on cultural and tourism industries and felt honored to discuss the possibilities of cooperation on the development in this field in his hometown. He hoped to improve communication with the district and start cooperation from project design and conceptualization in a bid to transform the old streets into a model representative of the integration of culture and tourism in Neijiang and Dongxing District.
